Is a sour soup dish composed of chicken , vegetables, and tamarind leaves. This chicken soup recipe is similar to Sinigang. The only difference is the use of tamarind leaves.
Ingredients:
2 tbp cooking oil
2 pcs medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
3/4 kilo chicken, cut into serving pieces
1 tbsp ginger, copped
3-4 cups of water
2 pcs Knorr Tamarind Broth Cube
3/4 cup sampalok of malungagay leaves removed from stem, fish sauce, to taste
Cooking Procedure:
1. Saute onions, garlic, ginger and chiken. Add water and bring to boil.
2. Add Knorr Tamarind Broth Cubes. Simmer until chicken is cooked through.
3. Add sampalok leaves and cook for another minute. Adjust according to taste.
