Indian chicken curry typically starts with whole spices, heated in oil. A sauce is then made with onions, ginger, garlic, and tomatoes, and powdered spices. Bone-in pieces of chicken are then added to the sauce, and simmered until cooked through.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp oil
½ kg. chicken, cut into serving pcs.
2 tbsp curry powder
2 packs Knorr Complete Recipe Mix Ginataang Gulay
2 cups water
1 pc. carrot, diced
2 pcs. potatoes, diced
1-2 pcs. bell peppers, sliced
Procedures:
Lightly brown chicken pieces over high heat (You may also brown potatoes and carrots if desired).
Add curry powder and mix well.
Add Knorr Complete Recipe Mix Ginataang Gulay dissolved in water. Bring this to boil.
Add vegetables and reduce heat to simmer until all ingredients are cooked and sauce is thick.
